Global Warming

Global warming

Global warming is the increasing in the average temperature of the earth near surface air and oceans in recent decades. In my essay, I am going to write about the main causes of the global warming and its effects in our life.

Global average air temperature near the earth's surface was little rose during the past century. Most of the observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the middle of 20th century is very likely due to the increasing the greenhouse effect.

There are many causes of global warming; the main cause is the carbon dioxide. While the carbon dioxide is the principle greenhouse gas, Methane is second most important. Methane is more than 20 times as effective as CO2 at trapping heat in the atmosphere. Another greenhouse gas is Nitrous oxide (N2O), it is a naturally produced by oceans and rainforests.

The most problem effect of greenhouse is rising of sea level. Sea level is rising around the world due to melting mountain glaciers and small ice caps. Rising sea level will cause losing lands and cause storms and flooding. Humans will lose many natural water supplies around the world because of green house. This problem will make a disaster around the world.
